Songs of Praise 2012
Saturday 29 September 2012 @ 7.30pm – Kearsney College Chapel
Sunday 30 September 2012 @ 3pm – Anglican Cathedral, Langalibelele St. Pietermaritzburg
Conducted by Richard Cock, combined choir consisting of members of various choirs together with the Tembalihle Childrens’ Choir, and accompanied by Christopher Cockburn on pipe organ. Tickets are R60 per person and can be obtained from the office at Bible House ( Minnie/Hermien – 031 2074933 or email@example.com) or, for the Maritzburg Concert, from the Cathedral Office (Mabel – 033 3941567). Tickets will also be available at the door, but pre-booking is recommended as seating is limited for both concerts. Tea & Coffee will be available during interval at a nominal fee.
The programme will follow the usual Songs of Praise format, with a selection of well-loved hymns and sacred songs, and combining choral and congregational singing.
Proceeds from the two concerts, after expenses, will go in equal measure to support the work of Bible Society and the RSCM.
