Introduction
[/kc_column_text][kc_spacing height="20" _id="556552"][kc_column_text _id="826319"]A vocation is a calling, a gift from God through which in a most unique way an individual exercises ministry within the body of the Church. Clergy are called to serve in this way in likeness and conformity to the image and person to Jesus Christ, sacrificing their lives for the spread of the Gospel and the living out of Gospel values in witness to the world around them. They often live counter-cultural lives of simplicity, obedience and celibacy.
